£4.2m High Net Worth Mortgage

The Requirement: £4.2m mortgage secured against a new property valued at £7m. Clients main income was not sufficient in itself to fully cover the debt, but background assets provided enough to convince the bank to lend.

The Solution: Full mortgage amount agreed at 1.8% over 3 month libor for 5 years with a 0.5% lenders fee and on an interest only basis. The Bank also arranged the structure of the property ownership and the client has since transferred many of his other assets to them to managed.
